While we were awaiting for our late night movie at 2.20am, we had supper at the little food place at Youth Park located just diagonally opposite Orchard Cineleisure. Botak Jones had just opened a new stall/outlet there & we wanted to see what the fuss about their claim of having the 'biggest/tallest' burger was all about. I ordered the Double beef patty burger while my friends ordered the sausage set that came served with 2 side dishes of their choice.
Humongous sausage set meal that was ample for 2 'small' eaters. The 2 side dishes was generous in portion. Here my friend chose the coleslaw & pasta salad which was quite tasty. Value for money I guess.
Here is my order of the double beef patty cheeseburger. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with it. Yes it was stacked up tall & all but the beef patty was surprisingly quite small. The few rings of onions were loosely placed & scattered with no other vegetables or condiments within the burger. The taste test was sadly disappointing as well. The melted cheese & beef patties turned cold within a few minutes upon serving, was difficult to bite into due to it's 'thick' patties & was a bit tasteless. Couldn't taste the flame broiled/BBQ-ed flavor. Definitely needs more marinate. Overall was a meal to fill the tummy but not value for money. :(
